Description: Each year, the UAW offers competitive one-year
scholarships to four graduating seniors. The intended college or university
must be accredited, but there are no other restrictions.

Name: NAPM-East Tennessee, Inc. Scholarship
Eligibility: High school students who reside in East
Tennessee and who will attend a publicly funded college in Tennessee for
the academic year 2008-2009 are eligible. The student should have a minimum

will be based on an essay prepared by the student expressing interest
in the supply management field.

Name: Smoky Mountain Regional College
and Career Fair Scholarship
Details: In order to apply for this scholarship, students
must attend the Smoky Mountain Regional College and Career Fair. This
fair is on October 11, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Pellissippi State
Hardin Valley Campus. Over 80 college representatives from around the
region will be there to answer questions about admission, student life,
activities, etc.
Eligibility: Student must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and
be a graduating senior. University, Dual, and Technical path students
may all apply!
Rules: Student must get a scholarship form from Mrs.
Bruun in guidance. They must attend the college fair on October 11, 2007
and obtain 3 college/career representatives signatures while at the fair
on the scholarship form. Then, the student turns in the completed form
at the scholarship table at the fair. Following the fair, a drawing will
be held to determine the winners. Winners will be notified before November
30th.
